Understanding the 4 C's

Cut

Color

All-natural diamonds will have some color from the minerals in the earth where they were mined. The amount of color in the diamond will determine the quality.

Clarity

Every natural diamond has some imperfections or blemishes that affect the clarity. The fewer imperfections a diamond has, the better the quality and higher the value of the diamond.

Carat

One carat is divided into 100 "points" so that a diamond of 25 points is described as a quarter of a carat or 0.25 carats.
